Globally recognized P-pop group SB19 is the new face of well-loved Pinoy snack brand Mang Juan

Acer and SB19 celebrate five years of collaboration with outstanding achievements



Before their "Simula at Wakas" world tour stop in Taipei, SB19 was invited to Acer's Taipei headquarters as "one-day employees." In addition to being honored guests, the "Kings of P-pop" met Acer Chairman and CEO Jason Chen, as well as Pan-Asia Pacific President Andrew Hou, who gave each member—Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—a Predator Helios 18 gaming laptop as a token of appreciation for their five-year collaboration.

SB19 paid a visit to Acer's product experience center, where they tested out the latest gaming laptops and the FreeSense Ring smart wearable produced by Acer Fashion.  The group also took part in a design workshop, where they explored concepts for laptop aesthetics and small household appliances.

Acer was also the co-presenter for SB19’s “Simula at Wakas” world tour stop in Taipei.

According to market research firm GfK, Acer held the top spot in the Philippine personal computer market in Q1 2025 with a 35.7% overall market share, a 34.2% share in consumer notebooks, and an astounding 40.6% share in gaming laptops.

Acer: Still the Undisputed PC Market Leader in the Philippines



According to market research firm GfK, Acer dominated the Philippine personal computer market in Q1 2025, with a 35.7% total market share, 34.2% in consumer notebooks, and an astonishing 40.6% in gaming laptops.  Acer also performed well in April, with its laptop category capturing 36% of the market, reinforcing its domination. 

Acer's success can be attributed to its multifaceted marketing strategy, which includes smart collaborations with brand advocates.  This strategy has proven extremely beneficial in broadening Acer's national reach and enhancing its local branding initiatives.

An excellent example is Acer's collaboration with the "Kings of P-pop," SB19.  This relationship has been critical in ensuring Acer's relevancy to its client base, particularly among the younger generation.  The collaboration between Acer and SB19 began prior to their official ambassadorship for Acer Day and sponsorship by Acer and Acerpure in 2021.

An A’TIN’s question to ‘Ninang’ Acer results in a billboard and train wrap for SB19



What happens when an enthusiastic fan confronts a brand on Facebook?  If you're Acer Philippines, and the fan requests larger photos of P-Pop Kings SB19, you deliver!

It all started when a Facebook fan remarked on the #AcerCampus2025 cover photo showing SB19, "Ninang, wala bang ilalaki ito!? Malabo po ang Mahalima." Without missing a beat, Acer Philippines responded with an epic "Sige ipapa-billboard natin."




In just one week, Acer Philippines responded to this request with a "Ok na 'to" and a shot of a large #AcerCampus2025 billboard along EDSA.  But the fun did not end there.  Acer went all out and surprised A'TIN with a train wrap on LRT Line 2!

SB19 SAYS "Atin To?" for McDonald's Chicken McDo



The much malaki, much juicier, much crispier, and much sulit Chicken McDo is becoming increasingly popular among Filipinos! SB19, the P-Pop phenomenon, has now joined the cause and declared, "Atin 'to!for the improved and upgraded Chicken McDo that has a mouthwatering flavor.

The quick service restaurant's newest endorsers are superstars-to-be: SB19 members Pablo (John Paulo Nase), Ken (Felip Jhon Suson), Stell (Stellvester Ajero), Josh (Josh Cullen Santos), and Justin (Justin De Dios). This announcement marks the beginning of an exciting partnership.

Being the first act from the Philippines and Southeast Asia to receive a nomination in the Billboard Music Awards' Top Social Artist category, SB19 made a name for themselves. They now emulate the unkaboggable Vice Ganda, who assisted McDonald's in the highly successful relaunch of Chicken McDo last year. A few days prior to the announcement, McDonald's Philippines teased their next endorser on social media, teasing a new “Ninang.” A'tin, the devoted followers of SB19, surmised right away that it was the impending endorsement. Soon after, the band's love for Chicken McDo was showcased in an exclusive video for A'tin. The video encouraged the band's fans to try the song and adopt it as their own.

The star of the show is McDonald's one-piece Chicken McDo Sulit Busog Meal, available in all McDonald's restaurants nationwide for just Php99 and including rice and a drink. SB19 fans will undoubtedly have something to look forward to when their favorite band joins the thousands of people who have discovered the new and improved Chicken McDo.
