Chicken McDo Brings Everyone Closer at Every Table with the Heartwarming Invitation: ‘Chicken McDo Tayo!’

The simple word "Kain tayo" has a deeper meaning than its literal translation of "Let's eat." It is Filipinos' literal love language, an expression of warmth and inclusion—another way of saying, "You are welcome here."  You are a part of this." This sense of belonging is not restricted to relatives; it naturally extends to godparents, longstanding friends, trusted neighbors, and even coworkers who feel like family.

As Filipino food writer Doreen Fernandez once noted, “To invite someone to eat is to extend not just food, but yourself—your home, your life, your very sense of kinship.” It’s a tradition that turns every meal into an act of connection.

McDonald's is currently celebrating the spirit of unity with its Much Malaki, Much Pinasarap Chicken McDo.  It's huge, crispy, and juicy, making it ideal for sharing with friends and family, whether for a quiet weeknight supper, a bustling Sunday brunch, or a surprise visit from a friend.

“Every meal is an opportunity to bring people closer. Filipinos know that food is best enjoyed when shared, because it’s never just about the flavors on the plate. It’s about the togetherness and the memories made in between bites. With Chicken McDo, every table becomes a space where everyone is welcome, seen, and valued, and where a simple meal stays with you even after the last bite.” ~Ada Lazaro, McDonald’s Philippines Chief Marketing Officer

Chicken McDo transforms everyday dining into social experiences full of comfort, humor, and connection.  Whether you eat in, take out, or have it delivered, each serving conveys the same message as "Kain tayo": you belong here.

Now, McDonald’s invites everyone to share that message in the most delicious way possible -- “Chicken McDo tayo!”

SB19 SAYS "Atin To?" for McDonald's Chicken McDo

The much malaki, much juicier, much crispier, and much sulit Chicken McDo is becoming increasingly popular among Filipinos! SB19, the P-Pop phenomenon, has now joined the cause and declared, "Atin 'to!for the improved and upgraded Chicken McDo that has a mouthwatering flavor.

The quick service restaurant's newest endorsers are superstars-to-be: SB19 members Pablo (John Paulo Nase), Ken (Felip Jhon Suson), Stell (Stellvester Ajero), Josh (Josh Cullen Santos), and Justin (Justin De Dios). This announcement marks the beginning of an exciting partnership.

Being the first act from the Philippines and Southeast Asia to receive a nomination in the Billboard Music Awards' Top Social Artist category, SB19 made a name for themselves. They now emulate the unkaboggable Vice Ganda, who assisted McDonald's in the highly successful relaunch of Chicken McDo last year. More recently, Chicken McDo—which went viral for its enormous, "dinosaur-size" portions—was the subject of a musical extravaganza featuring Marian Rivera, the Kapuso royalty, and Dingdong Dantes.

“We’re ecstatic to welcome SB19 to the McDonald’s Philippines family. To have this supergroup join us in showing love for our much bigger, much juicier, much crispier and much sulit Chicken McDo is very exciting. It’s a great collaboration, and we look forward to working with SB19 in delivering more feel-good moments to our customers all over the country. Definitely, there’s much more to look forward to in this campaign.” ~Adi Timbol-Hernandez, McDonald’s Philippines’ Assistant Vice President for Corporate Relations and Impact

A few days prior to the announcement, McDonald's Philippines teased their next endorser on social media, teasing a new “Ninang.” A'tin, the devoted followers of SB19, surmised right away that it was the impending endorsement. Soon after, the band's love for Chicken McDo was showcased in an exclusive video for A'tin. The video encouraged the band's fans to try the song and adopt it as their own.

The star of the show is McDonald's one-piece Chicken McDo Sulit Busog Meal, available in all McDonald's restaurants nationwide for just Php99 and including rice and a drink. SB19 fans will undoubtedly have something to look forward to when their favorite band joins the thousands of people who have discovered the new and improved Chicken McDo.
