Rossopomodoro, a slice of Italy's best, makes its Asian debut at SM Mall of Asia

The seductive aroma of freshly baked dough, the rich taste of slow-simmered tomato sauce, and the creamy delight of delicate milky mozzarella--all work together perfectly.  This is the distinct experience of Rossopomodoro, Italy's largest pizza company, which has officially arrived in the Philippines with its first outlet in Asia at SM Mall of Asia.

With the opening of Rossopomodoro's first branch in Asia, diners can now enjoy the authentic flavor of Naples and true Italian culinary craftsmanship through a signature blend of fresh ingredients, time-honored traditions, and a carefully curated selection of authentic wood-fired pizza. 

A pizza-cutting ceremony kicked off Rossopomodoro's grand opening at SM Mall of Asia, celebrating Italian ancestry and flavor while also marking the beginning of a new gastronomic journey for Filipino diners.  Guests had their hands doughy as they learned how to make the ideal bite-kneading classic Neapolitan dough from scratch, guided by Italian pizzaiolos. 

Rossopomodoro takes pride in its long-standing culinary traditions and fresh, high-quality ingredients, creating pizzas, pastas, and Italian delicacies that have won it a place among the world's most well-known pizzerias. 

Guests enjoyed a colorful atmosphere with free-flowing cocktails, live DJ music, and a feast of Rossopomodoro's world-famous specialty dishes.  The Pizza Verace, topped with San Marzano tomatoes and creamy mozzarella di bufala, captured the rich, classic flavors of Naples, while the Pizza Reginella pleased with fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil.  For pasta aficionados, the Linguine Gamberi e Limone was a bright, zesty blend of delicious shrimp and citrus-infused olive oil—a true taste of Italy's finest culinary traditions.

Rossopomodoro's first Asian location joins an ever-growing roster of first-to-market eating concepts that have picked SM as their Philippine home. From the best burgers in New York to the most popular ramen in Japan, SM is still in the forefront of introducing international flavors to Filipino diners.
