AirAsia Philippines has activated its #AlwaysREADY Ngayong Semana Santa 2025 to provide a seamless and safe travel experience for all clients between April 13 and 20, 2025.
Transportation Security Administrator Undersecretary Arthur Bisnar, together with AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla and Spokesperson Steve Dailisan, led an inspection of the airline's check-in counters to review preparations for the expected increase of passengers. As part of the campaign, the crew also handed out Santan Summer drinks to departing passengers at NAIA Terminal 3.
In addition, AirAsia Philippines has implemented a new power bank policy in accordance with AirAsia Aviation Group's newly issued rules, which are currently being reviewed and approved by the Philippine Civil Aviation Authority.
"It's become a tradition for us, here at AirAsia, to provide additional support during peak travel times, especially when families, friends reunite and observe religious tradition. While we know the importance of staying connected during this time, we are also raising awareness amongst guests on the need for vigilance in proper handling and storage of power banks during their travels.” ~First Officer Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head
AirAsia advises passengers that power banks with a capacity of 100 watt-hours (Wh) or less are permitted on board. Devices with capacities ranging from 100Wh to 160Wh require airline certification at the check-in counter. AirAsia power bank safety standards are available on official AirAsia social media accounts, the AirAsia Newsroom and AskBo on the AirAsia MOVE app.
On-board Summer Menu
Coinciding with the busy Holy Week travel period, AirAsia Philippines is bringing summer onboard with the launch of its Santan Summer Menu, featuring the viral Halo-Halo Drink available for pre-booking at only Php 150.
Starting April 22, domestic travelers can take advantage of the PHP150 Value Combo Snack Deal, which includes light nibbles like Pain au Chocolat or Cheese Puffs matched with Santan drinks. Guests can also upgrade to the best-selling Santan Coconut Latte or try new flavors like Raspberry Lychee Jasmine Tea (PHP140) and Fizzy Raspberry Lychee (PHP150) for a pleasant mid-flight beverage.
Meanwhile, to guarantee a smooth voyage, AirAsia recommends that travelers come at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before foreign departures, as check-in counters open 2 hours ahead of CAB restrictions.
To avoid long queues, guests without checked baggage are encouraged to use self-check-in kiosks. For added convenience, travelers can opt for the Value Pack Lite bundle which includes 20kg of checked baggage and seat selection starting at just Php 660 per flight. For a smooth travel experience, passengers are also advised to review the latest baggage guidelines and list of restricted items here.
