Jollibee Group-owned The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Named Top 10 Brand in Kuwait for Customer Satisfaction

Top Café in Kuwait for Customer Satisfaction. CBTL’s Kuwaiti international franchise partner, Mishary Al Ghunaim of Al-Ghunaim Trading Co. Ltd, receives the recognition from Service Hero as the Top Café in Kuwait for Customer Satisfaction. 


The Jollibee Group’s global brand for coffee and tea, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® (CBTL), has recently been cited as among the Top 10 Brands in Kuwait, according to the 2023 Service Hero Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Awards. CBTL has also been ranked Top 1 in the Café Category.

An annual recognition program called the CSI Awards honors Kuwaiti businesses that provide outstanding customer service. Twenty categories and more than 500 brands were polled. 

Three major aspects of service are measured by the CSI: likelihood to recommend, overall satisfaction, and expectations. Along with staff, location, product quality, value for money, speed, dependability, location, resolving complaints, call center, digital, and delivery services, it also measures a number of other service dimensions.

In 2004, CBTL made its debut in Kuwait thanks to the support of Abdulghani Al Ghunaim, Chairman of Al-Ghunaim Trading Co., a Kuwaiti international franchise partner. Ltd. As of right now, CBTL operates 73 cafés in Kuwait; by 2025, it hopes to have 100.

Top Café for Customer Satisfaction in Kuwait. Jollibee Group’s flagship brand for coffee and tea, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf ®, emerged as Top Café for Customer Satisfaction in Kuwait in the recent 2023 Service Hero Customer Satisfaction Index Awards.


The Jollibee Group acquired CBTL in 2019. The acquisition of the specialty coffee and tea brand was the company’s largest and most multinational so far with business presence in 24 countries. Currently, CBTL has 1,172 stores worldwide as of February 2024.
