Experience the thrill of flavorful heat! Panda Express introduces a new American Chinese classic, Spicy Bourbon Chicken, in the Philippines



The heat is officially on! Panda Express Philippines has just launched its newest American Chinese sweet and spicy, flavor-packed dish, Spicy Bourbon Chicken, which is now available for a limited time.

This unique entrée is a delicious take on a Southern American classic: bourbon chicken. The dish consists of crispy boneless chicken bites and fresh vegetables wok-tossed in a spicy and sweet bourbon sauce, then topped with sesame seeds. Spicy Bourbon Chicken features a crispy chicken coating for an addictive, comforting flavor in every bite.






To commemorate its launch, Panda Express held an exclusive media event on February 12, 2025, at its SM Mall of Asia location, where invited guests had the opportunity to sample a new American Chinese classic, Spicy Bourbon Chicken. The event included a live cooking demonstration and kitchen tour led by Resident Chef Israel Mata, who has worked for Panda Express Philippines since it first opened in the country in 2019. During the event, guests could also visit an exclusive Spice Bowl Bar and customize their Spicy Bourbon Chicken meals with side dishes to find the best match for their spice tolerance.

Panda Express® Opens First Drive-Thru Store in South Luzon

Panda Express®, the world's largest American Chinese dining concept, opened its first restaurant in Pacita, San Pedro, Laguna. The milestone opening marked the Panda’s first ever drive-thru store in South Luzon and the second in the Philippines. The Jollibee Group continues to expand its Philippine franchise of Panda Express®, the world's largest American Chinese dining concept, with the opening of its first restaurant in Pacita, San Pedro, Laguna. The milestone opening marked the Panda’s first ever drive-thru store in South Luzon and the second in the Philippines.

This new store in San Pedro, Laguna, offers a variety of entrées with Chinese influences, including the bestselling dish, The Original Orange Chicken®, which is prepared with crispy boneless chicken bites wok-tossed in Panda’s signature sweet and spicy sauce. The new branch will also serve other famous dishes such as the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Beef Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, and Savory Shrimp. 


The new Panda Express store in San Pedro, Laguna, offers a variety of entrées with Chinese influences, including the bestselling dish, The Original Orange Chicken®.


A long queue of excited drive-thru customers started lining up as early as 8:30am. To celebrate the store opening, Panda Express’ Pacita restaurant treated guests with exciting promos. The first 50 drive-thru customers received a Panda Bear, and free medium Orange Chicken for those with a minimum order value of P750. A fun activity also awaited dine-in and takeout customers where they had a chance to win exciting prizes and freebies.

Panda Express Pacita is the fourth store to be opened in 2023, following the opening of the Sumulong Highway, WalterMart Makati, and SM Tanza restaurants earlier this year. To date, Panda Express has a total of 18 stores in the Philippines.

Panda Express® opens first drive-thru branch in the Philippines: The Sumulong Highway branch also marks its 100th international store



Prepare to savor mouthwatering American Chinese cuisine even while traveling. With the opening of its Sumulong Highway location, Panda Express®, the largest American Chinese dining concept in the world, finally opened its first drive-thru restaurant in Asia. The latest store, which is in Marikina City at the corner of Toyota Avenue and Sumulong Highway, is also the 100th international restaurant.

In 2019, Jollibee Group formed JBPX Foods, Inc., a joint venture with Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. (PRG) to bring the iconic US restaurant brand to the Philippines. The latest store opening is part of JBPX Foods, Inc.'s plans to open more stores across the country in response to guests’ demand for savory Panda Express dishes.




With its newest Sumulong Highway location, Panda Express continues to offer a variety of Chinese-inspired entrees, including the most popular The Original Orange Chicken®, a wok-tossed crispy chicken covered in sweet and tangy sauce; and Honey Walnut Shrimp, a mouthwatering entrée made with high-quality, crispy shrimp that is tossed in a honey sauce in a wok before being topped with glazed walnuts.

As soon as the drive-thru opened, there was a long line of cars waiting to order their favorite Panda Express items. A limited-edition Panda Bear was given to the first 100 drive-thru customers, and those who placed an order of at least P500 received a free pail of Medium Orange Chicken.

In addition, dine-in customers waited in line as early as 8 a.m. to sample their preferred Panda Express dishes. Marian Amurao and Bryle Lukban, the 100th dine-in customers, received a pail of Giant Orange Chicken as a special treat.

Panda Express® adds another store in the South with its first branch in Muntinlupa

Located along South Luzon expressway, guests and travelers can now stop over at the new Shell SLT branch and enjoy their Panda Express® favorites.


The south area of the metro is attracting some good fortune. Panda Express®—the world’s largest American Chinese dining concept—is set to open another store in the south on July 1, with its Shell SLT branch, the first location in Muntinlupa and along the South Luzon expressway.

Panda Express® Set to Open New Branch in Las Piñas


SOUTHBOUND. Panda Express® continues to expand its presence in the Philippines, bringing American Chinese favorites closer to the fans, with the opening of its seventh store located at the SM Southmall in Las Piñas City.

A green light for the world famous The Original Orange Chicken® as it travels southbound. Panda Express®—the world’s largest American Chinese dining concept—is slated to open its newest branch on April 1, 2022, at the SM Southmall in Las Piñas City.

Panda Express® Introduces Kung Pao Fish in Time for Lent

Exclusively created for Panda Express in the Philippines, the savory Kung Pao Fish, its latest seafood-based dish, will be available on the menu starting March 11.


Just when you thought food options are limited during the season of Lent, Panda Express®—the world’s largest American Chinese dining concept—has you covered with delicious options including its newest savory dish, Kung Pao Fish. 

Available for a limited time only, this seafood-based option will be available on the menu starting March 11 and is exclusively created for Panda Express in the Philippines.

The new store will be the sixth Panda Express in the whole Metro Manila area, since opening its first location at SM Megamall in Ortigas, Pasig City in late 2019.

The world’s largest American Chinese dining concept is set to open its third restaurant on June 11, 2021, in the busy commercial block of Double Dragon Meridian Park in Pasay City. American Chinese Classics

The Panda Express menu includes a variety of entrées with influences from the eight traditional cuisines of China. Its bestselling the Original Orange Chicken™, crispy chicken wok-tossed in sweet and tangy sauce, is inspired by Panda Express co-founder Andrew Cherng’s hometown flavors of Yangzhou, China.  

The Original Orange Chicken™ is the signature dish of Panda Express. It is a crispy chicken entrée, wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy orange sauce.


An irresistible combo of sweet and crispy, Panda Express’ Honey Walnut Shrimp is made with large tempura-battered shrimp that is lightly coated in a unique honey sauce and topped with glazed walnuts.

The new Mongolian Pork entrée features a savory, umami flavor profile - combining a hint of sweetness from the caramelized onions, scallions, red peppers, and mushrooms with the smokiness of the seared pork.  

The American Chinese restaurant brand also recently introduced two new dishes to the Philippine menu. First is the Panda Express signature pescatarian-friendly dish Honey Walnut Shrimp™, which is a Canton dish inspired by Western influence that is made with large and crispy tempura-battered shrimp, lightly coated in the unique honey sauce and topped with glazed walnuts.
