Enchanted Kingdom (EK) welcomes enchantment and luck with a spectacular and immersive Chinese New Year celebration in 2025, commemorating its 30th anniversary!

From January 29 to February 9, the Year of Snaptooth the Snake will amaze visitors with magnificent cultural displays, amazing food and dining offers based on tradition, and festive décor.

Thousands of people were captivated by the Enchanted Lunar New Year Parade, which went through the streets of Portabello, Brooklyn Place, and Spaceport zones during the day. As they pranced around the park, the symbolic Lion and Dragon brought with them the power of riches and good luck. EK concluded the festivities with a stunning display of lights at the Sky Wizardry Fireworks Display.

Exciting Festivities

On January 28 and 29, Araneta City's Lunar New Year celebrations will be brought to life with traditional Dragon and Lion Dance performances that will spread dynamic energy and drive away negativity in preparation for prosperity.

On January 29, the Chinese New Year festivities begin in full swing at all Araneta City malls. Visitors to Gateway Mall 2 can enjoy a Chinese Acrobats Show, a cultural performance by students from the Philippine Chung Hua School, a Tarot Card Reading session, and a photo booth. Gateway Mall 1 will host a Jigsaw Puzzle Competition, and Farmers Plaza will have a Zodiac Runway Costume Contest. 

From January 22 to 31, Ali Mall will host a Chinese New Year Prosperity Bazaar, featuring lucky charms, festive treats, and symbolic good fortune items. On January 29, they will receive a reading and Feng Shui consultation from Master Ang to learn about their fortunes for the coming year.

Shoppers can look forward to special Chinese New Year treats on January 29. Customers who spend ₱1,500 at Araneta City malls can receive a free snake plant representing resilience and prosperity, as well as a free tarot reading at Gateway Mall 2 or Ali Mall.

The "Hidden Red Envelope Hunt" Challenge, an interactive digital promotion in which social media live streams drop clues leading to a hidden red envelope somewhere in Araneta City, adds to the excitement of the festivities. The first person to find it will win two movie passes.

Celebrate the Year of the Water Rabbit at Enchanted Kingdom

Like any other holiday, Chinese New Year is one of the most celebrated festivities in the Philippines. Traditionally, Filipinos would go straight to Chinatown. This year, Enchanted Kingdom, the Philippines’ first and only worldclass theme park, returns with its annual celebration of Chinese New Year.

On January 22, 2023, parkgoers can enjoy a special show with amazing live performances from EK’s female and male vocal groups: Victoria’s Way and The Kingsmen, Elite Aerial Arts, and Philippine Rui Dragon and Lion Dance.
