The Red Bull dancing Tour will arrive in Manila on April 9, igniting the city's street dancing scene. Global street dance icons MT Pop, The D-Soraki, Nonoy, and Chrissy Chou will turn the city into a lively melting pot of different freestyle cultures and the country's own street dance legends.
From seminars and showcases to moments leading up to the main stage at Bridgetowne Concert Grounds for the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Finals, the tour will spark a series of collaborations that are expected to bring together the world's best with the spirit of the local dance community. It will facilitate a powerful exchange of worldwide experience and domestic talent.
A Global Tour Meets Manila’s Dance Floor
Following thrilling stops around Asia, the visiting freestyle dancers will arrive in Manila with the same energetic and forceful spirit that defines Red Bull Dance Your Style. The Manila stop on the tour will be more than just a performance; it will also serve as a gathering place for worldwide icons to immerse themselves in the rhythms of the local street dance culture. They will collaborate with some of the country's dance icons, including Nemesis, Klockwise, Lema Diaz, and Vince Mendoza.
Across many sessions and cyphers, foreign and Filipino dancers will trade movements, challenge each other in spontaneous freestyle exchanges, and discuss skills honed over years on the worldwide fight circuit.
The exchange will also extend an open invitation to the community. Nonoy, MT Pop, D-Soraki, and Chrissy Chou will participate in local dance challenges and provide free lessons for all street dancers looking to enhance their skills. The classes will provide aspiring dancers and long-time fans with a unique opportunity to learn directly from some of freestyle's most recognized artists, right in the heart of Manila's vibrant street dance scene.
While each dancer provides a distinct perspective to their craft, Nemesis feels that studying from these experienced worldwide dancers, who have extensive expertise and knowledge, would help workshop participants grow and raise their standards in dance.
The Manila floor is about to become a testing ground for budding Filipino dancers. Workshop participants will learn how to adjust quickly, switch styles, shift rhythms, and produce movements that engage the audience in real time.

It's a very positive thing when local dancers get the chance to meet, share, and connect with international dancers. One day, they can also go out of their country and travel around as ‘international dancers. I will share my strengths and perspectives, and how I train and experience, hoping that these can help other dancers improve and grow in their own unique way of dancing. From what I know, dancers in the Philippines are raw, incredibly passionate, energetic, and full of dance spirit. I hope people won't spend too much energy chasing votes or focusing on outside factors. Instead, I hope they will focus more on themselves—‘Dance your style. He noted that being a dancer entails more than simply mastering technique. It's also important to grasp the culture that underpins the dance—how people see and experience it, as well as how it's done in one's own community. The World Champion said he was looking forward to the tour's arrival in Manila.
For the local community, the tour is planned to be both inspiring and challenging. It will be an opportunity to compare their creativity to the greatest in the world while working together to advance the culture.
The tour's momentum will carry over to the Red Bull Dance Your Style Philippines National Finals, where the country's finest freestyle dancers will fight for the chance to represent the Philippines on the international stage at the World Finals in Zurich, Switzerland.
Unlike traditional dance competitions, which are judged by a panel, Red Bull Dance Your Style gives the public complete control. From hip-hop to house, locking to popping, dancers must capture the audience's attention with pure musicality, freestyle technique, and irresistible stage presence.
Fueling the dancers and fans throughout the tour stop, Army Navy, Hertz, and Mophie will join the event as partners, keeping the energy high as the community gathers for the Finals.
