Fisher Mall Turns Holiday Traditions into Support for Cancer Patients

Christmas shone brighter this year at Fisher Mall, where both its Quezon Avenue and Malabon branches hosted the much-anticipated "A Holiday of Hope" celebration, a magnificent tree-lighting ceremony that brought families, consumers, partners, and local politicians together in the spirit of community.

“Fisher Mall has always believed in creating spaces where people feel connected. Events like this remind us that a mall is more than just a place to shop because it is also. Our activity centers are built to be platforms for performers, cultural groups, and local organizations. We take pride in giving communities a space to gather, express themselves, and thrive. We look forward to expanding these partnerships with our LGUs even further. As we light our Christmass trees in both our malls, we also light hearts with hope. We invite everyone to get into the season of giving as we come together as one community to make a lasting difference.” ~Raymond Del Rosario, President of the Fisher Mall Group of Companies

A Celebration of Community, Creativity, and Collaboration

The twin celebration of Fisher Mall's Christmas debut brought together families, shoppers, and partners to celebrate the holiday season.  The Quezon City Symphonic Band, Malabon Concert Singers, and Ballet Manila provided live performances for guests, as well as interactive activities that fostered involvement and connection.

To add a nostalgic touch, the mall displayed a Christmas-themed LEGO exhibit by the PinoyLUG group, led by Leslie Araujo, which attracted both children and adults.

Representatives from the Quezon City Government, including Councilors Dorothy "Doray" Delarmente, Charm M. Ferrer, and Nikki Crisologo, attended the celebration, highlighting the city's shared commitment to promoting local culture, innovation, and community participation.

Turning Holiday Shopping Into Acts of Giving

The Fisher Elite Card represents Fisher Mall's mission of community and compassion.  A percentage of every card sold at Fisher Mall Supermarket and Fisher Department Store in both branches until December 31, 2025 will go directly to the support of Bahay Aruga - A Free Halfway House for Pediatric Cancer Patients, Inc.  Each purchase contributes to the provision of essentials for children, such as nutrition and daily care, as well as medical support and educational activities.

Since their partnership began in 2023, Fisher Mall and Bahay Aruga have worked together to support children fighting cancer, demonstrating how everyday shopping can have a significant impact on the community.
