Mission: TAPOSible Rallies Filipinos in a United Front Against Dengue



Baygon® and Off! ®, a pest-control brand owned by SC Johnson, has officially launched Mission: TAPOSible, a nationwide campaign asking Filipino families to help protect life's ordinary moments by incorporating dengue prevention into their daily routine.  The campaign starts at Market!  Market!  In Taguig City, four prominent local personalities, Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, Melai Cantiveros, and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, collaborated as brand ambassadors to encourage the public to learn more about dengue and take proactive measures to protect their homes and communities from mosquito-borne diseases.

With Mission: TAPOSible, Baygon® and OFF!® aim to help inspire a shift towards proactive, year-round protection so families can focus on what matters most: spending time together, uninterrupted.


About Mission: TAPOSible

According to the latest statistics Department of Health (DOH) figures, the Philippines recorded over 123,000 dengue cases between January 1st and June 7th of this year, with children aged 5 to 9 and urban dwellers being the most afflicted.

With the rainy season in full swing and the likelihood of mosquito breeding grounds increasing, continuous dengue prevention becomes even more important.

That's where Mission: TAPOSible comes in, a comprehensive effort spearheaded by Baygon® and OFF! Aim to not only promote awareness, but also educate and empower Filipinos to combat dengue.  Based on a community pledge, Baygon® and OFF! TM encourages families to adopt basic, daily preventative routines while learning essential information on how to protect themselves and their communities.










Bringing the campaign to life, Baygon® and OFF!® are launching a multi-faceted, experiential event designed to drive both education and engagement. The event amplifies the campaign’s call to action and features a variety of on-ground activities:
  • The premiere of a dengue documentary: Highlighting the real-life impact of dengue through different points of view including a survivor’s experience, insights from entomologists, and ongoing local prevention efforts.   • The OFF!® Jingle Dance: Turning the brand’s catchy jingle into a fun activity for visitors to enjoy together. Dancers lead simple steps, inviting visitors to join in, learn the moves, and dance along. It’s not only a fun moment but also a rewarding experience, with exciting prizes awaiting participants.
  • Celebrity Meet-And-Greet Sessions, Interactive Games And Booth Activities: The event features activities that incorporate aspects of the Department of Health’s 5S strategy, helping visitors to learn about key dengue prevention steps while enjoying games and interactive experiences. The public can also explore mosquito and dengue facts through info panels and educational displays available at the event. 




Misson: TAPOSible empowers every family to take charge and defend what is most important to them by making dengue prevention a shared commitment.  Families can help protect their loved ones by practicing basic practices such as using mosquito repellent before leaving the house, utilizing aerosol sprays or coils to protect indoor spaces, and periodically cleaning potential mosquito breeding spots around the home.  


How to Join the Movement

Filipinos are encouraged to take part in Mission: TAPOSible by making a personal pledge at https://missiontaposible.com/. To join, simply enter your name, email address and province, then click the pledge button to show your commitment in taking daily steps to prevent dengue.

After pledging, members' names will appear on the campaign's virtual pledge wall, alongside a growing community dedicated to dengue protection.  They'll also get a special discount code for Baygon® and OFF! TM items to assist customers safeguard their loved ones and homes from dengue fever at all times and from any location.
