Dagupan erupted with pride, flavor, and Filipino flair as SM Center Dagupan brought the heat to the city's iconic Bangus Festival with its dynamic Bangus Festival Food Fiesta and up-to-70% summer sale, all while proudly championing local entrepreneurship through SM for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The annual Bangus Festival in Dagupan, renowned as the Philippines' Milkfish Capital, was more than simply a celebration; it was a passionate tribute to the industrious people and rich culture that made the city shine.  And this year, SM Center Dagupan did more than just join the party; it enhanced it.

From April 25 to 30, SM shoppers and festival-goers enjoyed a feast for the senses with flavorful bangus-inspired delicacies, cultural exhibits, and handcrafted local products — all made possible by MSMEs proudly featured under the SM for MSMEs program.

“The Bangus Festival is a celebration of everything that makes Dagupan special — resilience, creativity, and community. By spotlighting our MSMEs, we’re helping bring their passion and products to a wider audience.” ~Joaquin San Agustin, Executive Vice President for Marketing, SM Supermalls

Local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) proudly display their finest bangus products.

This event, co-hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), stressed the importance of entrepreneurship in regional growth, demonstrating that when local firms thrive, communities benefit.

Beyond the culinary festival, mallgoers delved headfirst into the Bangus Festival Sale, where summer items were available at up to 70% off - the ideal combination of shopping, discounts, and joy.

The SM for MSMEs campaign remained a cornerstone of SM Supermalls' efforts to support small businesses around the country.  By supporting events such as Bangus, SM reinforced its commitment to fostering local talents and traditions, ensuring that Filipino pride and enterprise coexist.
