Paris Baguette Debuts its First Bakery Café in the Philippines at SM Mall of Asia

Established in 1988, Paris Baguette is a globally recognized bakery chain that operates under the SPC Group, a prominent South Korean food and confectionery conglomerate. The company recently proudly unveiled its first bakery café in the Philippines, situated in the renowned SM Mall of Asia (SM MOA).

Prominent dignitaries graced the grand opening of the best French-inspired bakery café in South Korea, which included His Excellency Mr. Lee Sang-Hwa, the ambassador of South Korea to the Philippines, Mr. Hur Jin-soo, President and CEO of SPC Group, Mr. Frederick Siy, CEO of Paris Baguette Southeast Asia, Ms. Hana Lee, Vice Chairman of Berjaya Paris Baguette Philippines, and Mr. Steven Tan, President of SM Supermalls.

A delectable assortment of Paris Baguette's internationally beloved dishes, including their flakey-buttery croissants and their famous silky roll and strawberry yoghurt cake, were served to the guests. The launch of the Ube Series, which is only available in the Philippines, was another highlight of the event, demonstrating the brand's commitment to supporting innovation while satisfying local Filipino palates.







Paris Baguette's history dates back to 1945 in South Korea and is based on the concept of "Sangmidang," or the vow to never go without bread. In 1988, the establishment of the first Paris Baguette Bakery Café in South Korea served as further evidence of the commitment.
