A Legacy of Trust, A Future of Integrity:AMAES and PPCRV Launch 2025 Elections Command Center

The AMA Education System (AMAES) and the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) have officially launched the PPCRV Command Center at PLDT Sampaloc, cementing a long-standing partnership founded on transparency, technology, and civic duty.  The command center, which has moved to a new location, will act as the primary hub for election monitoring, reporting, and data verification. 

At the heart of the event was the keynote address by AMAES Chairman Emeritus, Amb. Amable R. Aguiluz V, who emphasized the institution’s continuing role in nation-building.

“Corporate Social Responsibility is not just a checkbox for AMA Education System — it is the very heartbeat of our institution,” Dr. Aguiluz stated. “Empowering communities through education and technology is our core mission, and it is through meaningful engagements like this that we bring that mission to life.” ~Amb. This launch comes after AMAES and PPCRV signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at AMA University in Quezon City earlier this year, renewing their commitment to supporting clean and honest elections through education and digital infrastructure.

Amb.  Aguiluz detailed AMAES' decades-long role in the country's electoral process, which began with the 1986 snap presidential elections.  Since then, AMA has participated in 14 national and local elections, including five automated ones.  For the approaching 2025 elections, AMAES will once again provide vital IT support, computer equipment, audiovisual training materials, and volunteers from over 200 campuses throughout the Philippines.

The ceremony also commemorated the long-standing relationship between AMAES and PPCRV, which began in 2010 with the country's first automated elections.  Beyond institutional collaboration, it also highlighted a personal relationship that has always supported this common cause—that of AMAES Chairman Emeritus Amb.  Aguiluz and Ambassador Henrietta "Tita" de Villa, PPCRV Founding Chair and former Philippine Ambassador to the Holy See. 

Ambassador de Villa, who has been in the vanguard of electoral reform and civic education, received a warm welcome at the occasion.  Her deep Catholic faith and commitment to peaceful elections served as a reminder of the heart and spirit of the PPCRV's mission.

PPCRV officials, including National Chairperson Evelyn Singson and Trustee and Spokesperson Ana de Villa–Singson, also graced the occasion, underscoring the organization's readiness for 2025 and their appreciation for AMAES' continued support.

As part of the renewed relationship, voter education materials, including the Tibok Pinoy e-book, will be integrated into AMAES' online learning platforms and distributed via digital and social media channels.  This effort seeks to develop not only voters, but also responsible and knowledgeable Filipino citizens. 

The launch of the PPCRV Command Center represents more than just logistical readiness.  It represents trust, commitment, and a shared purpose, embodying the ideals that both institutions uphold.  With technology and education at the forefront, and a history of civic involvement behind them, AMAES and PPCRV are standing up once more to assist defend the integrity of the Filipino vote.
