DTC Promos Inc. and Getz Pharma organized a medical mission on January 21, 2023, in Pasig City, to show their gratitude to the sanitation staff, security personnel, and traffic enforcers who keep Ortigas Market clean and safe.
More than a hundred beneficiaries from Pasig City, Ortigas Center Association (OCAI) and Ortigas Market vendors received free medicines in addition to laboratory, consultancy, spirometry, bone screening, and health and nutrition counseling through Getz Pharma's health advocacy program, Galing ng Every Juan.
DTC Promos Inc., the company that organizes the Ortigas Market, has made a commitment to fostering community wellness, which includes the Medical Mission.
Getz Pharma's General Manager, Averell Gaspar, said that the medical mission was their way of saying thanks to this industry and giving them free health care through a whole set of services at the event.
Atty. Diego Luis Santiago, the Deputy Administrator of Pasig City, was also present to express gratitude to Mr. Gaspar for the generous donations, which included food vouchers that could be used to purchase food and beverages from Market vendor partners.
As a social enterprise run by DTC Promos Inc., in collaboration with the City of Pasig, Barangay San Antonio and Ortigas Center Association Inc. (OCAI), the Ortigas Market opened on October 1, 2022.
Every Saturday, the Market is open from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Market is a place where people come to savor delicious food and shop for unique goods from all over the Metropolis.
