HUAWEI collaborated with Kipchoge's running squad, DSM-Firmenich, to transfer elite training knowledge into the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 using more precise, real-time analytics.
Workout data is gathered at one-second intervals, allowing for better analysis and faster changes. Running power, which has been developed with help from Kipchoge's team, measures actual mechanical output rather than heart rate. When combined with cadence and stride data, it provides a more accurate perspective of effort, efficiency, and form.
The device places equal attention on how the data is conveyed. Key information including as pace, effort, and split deviations are displayed in real time, making the watch a pacing partner rather than a passive tracker.
With the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, accuracy remains a priority. The watch uses a 3D floating antenna technology and dual-band satellite support across key worldwide systems to increase signal stability in congested or obstructed surroundings.
When signals fail, an industry-first AI-assisted XDR positioning system uses motion data to ensure consistent tracking.
