Acer Academy and Benilde taps technology to advance Deaf Education

Acer Academy has signed a partnership agreement with De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) to provide learning devices to deaf students through the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS), a program dedicated to providing deaf Filipino learners with inclusive, high-quality education.

Acer Academy donated five Acer TravelMate laptops to DLS-CSB. These devices are designed to assist SDEAS students in accessing online learning platforms, completing academic tasks and digital coursework, engaging in blended learning activities, and increasing their digital literacy and employability.

Acer Academy in the Philippines is a program established by Acer to assist schools, colleges, and universities in integrating technology into learning by providing hardware, software, training, and support for the creation of digital classrooms, improving digital literacy, and encouraging educational creativity.
