At 5:30 am in the morning, all attendees gather at our meeting place in Figaro Coffee Shop, Taipan Place. We took our breakfast here and at 7:00 am we are set to go and our journey began.
Even there is Yellow and Orange Rainfall warnings from NDRRMC, it did not stop us from pushing our tour. There was a saying ("Rain or Shine the show must go on.") It was really a non-stop rain at that time but we don't worry because the NorthPine Team is well prepared for this scenario. They provided everything we need throughout our trip.
During our trip, Mr. Richard Burgos tells more about the places we are going to visit and we have fun guessing on the questions he asked because we get rewards for each correct answer we give. Some of the prices they have given are gift certificates, organizers, umbrellas, and traveling bags.

The said ceremony marks the first step of the company to embark on the construction of its newest amenity in the North. The symbolic groundbreaking was led by NLI executives (L-R), namely: Benigno A. ROLREN'S LANTERNS AND GENERAL MERCHANDISE
It's your time to make your star shine!
We got the opportunity to design our own "Parol" to a known supplier of largest parol in the Philippines and also in some parts of the world.
The RolRen's Lanterns and General Merchandise has already embarked on exporting its products to Canada, USA, and select European Countries.
Behind these colorful and dazzling lanterns is its owner Rolando Quiambao who is regarded as the Philippines "Parol King". His rags to riches story will keep you in awe. He was former janitor and OFW before creating and lighting up lanterns that eventually lighted up his life.

After the Mt. Pinatubo blast, Rolando Quiambao was commissioned by the City Mayor to adorn the city's lamp posts which gave hope to the Pampaguenos.
After 2 spots visited we get hungry so our next destination is to look for our lunch. This restaurant is known for authentic Kapampangan cuisines. A unique dining area which is situated in the middle of the pond. Apag Marangle which means "hain sa bukid". Just celebrated their 10th year anniversary of serving and sharing authentic taste of Pampanga. This is one of a kind experience you don't have to miss!
Our Next Journey goes to San Fernando Train Station Museum - In 1942, this old train station was the endpoint of the 102-kilometer walk from Bataan to San Fernando during the World War II Death March. Truly the city of San Fernando is a witness to Philippine history.

Now a bare defunct railway station, the place has become a small museum which houses crafts and works of great historical importance.
Jose Rizal has become part of this historical site when he disembarked from this station to visit his colleagues in San Fernando and Bacolor on June 27, 1892.
This is new to me and I really don't know that the oldest train I know has reaches until here. I was really amazed that they able to preserve this historical place where most millennials don't know about this. "Ang Pambansang Daang Bakal ng Pilipinas" now called PNR- Philippine National Railways.
Our next trip goes to Pampanga's most promising cities through its Clark Museum (Museong Kapampangan) & 4D Theater.
The museum features a wide array of artifacts, old photography and state-of-the-art paintings which show the rich talent, and culture of Pampanga.
It is arranged into four galleries giving a bird's-eye view of Clark from its favorable geophysical characteristics, industry & trade, it's American colonial situation, its rise from the ashes story from the Mt. Pinatubo blast, and up to their spirit of bravery and ingenious vision towards the future.
Highlighting the museum experience is the 4D Theatre. It allows visitors to witness the Mt. Pinatubo explosion with breathtaking effects including wind, bubbles, and mist.

Our next stop is just a stone's away from the Clark Museum is a uniquely-themed restaurant named Matam-ih Authentic Kapampangan Cuisine.
Matam-ih is aboriginal Aeta world which means delicious and its name says it all. It offers the best and most delicious Kapampangan dishes in town. They have an amiable Aeta staff who go by the names of famous celebrities, so don't be surprised if "Piolo Pasculal", "Gretchen Barreto", or even "Heart Evangelista" server your orders.
If you are into a gustatory adventure, this is a restaurant you need to try. You can choose from great deal of exotic dishes such as crocs, beetles, and frogs among others. Be in love with its surroundings that bristles with a perfect blend of indigenous and modern vibe. Matam-ih has been continuously making waves in Pampanga since it opened in 2014.
I have eaten already some of the exotic dishes like frogs, rats, and snake but only here I got to taste the crocodile's meat and the cricket.
