Origin of Chibo Okonomiyaki
Okonomiyaki Chibo restaurant was founded in 1973 at Sennichimae in Osaka, a district famous for gourmet eateries. The name Chibo comes from the flag mark of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, a powerful warlord who lived in Japan during the 16th century and built Osaka Castle. His flag mark bears a pattern of clustering calabashes.

They are the first to introduce the fusion of Okonomiyaki and Teppanyaki. After introducing this new concept, Okonomiyaki Chibo became famous in Japan and continues to be one of the most successful Okonomiyaki restaurant.

Last July 13, 2018 @ Chibo Podium - an afternoon banquet for selected media partners was prepared by Okonomiyaki Chibo for us to experience their best tasting food from Osaka Japan's Cuisine.

The place was bright, clean, and have a relaxing ambiance. Perfect for an intimate gathering or small business conference.

I ate the Cheeseburger Steak with Teryaki Sauce and I can say the meat is tender & flavourful. It lingers to your mouth the true high-grade meat taste. The Mizo soup was so delicious also.

The price of Chibo is very affordable that you cannot imagine if you just pass by with this restaurant.
You take 1 set of meal and I'm sure after you finished eating this, you will say "I'm full" but of course it will differ from other human stomach capacity or consumption.

If you haven't tried Chibo, I encourage everyone to give it a try and I am pretty sure you are going to enjoy or much more after having your dining experience.
