PHILIPPINE ENDEMIC, INDIGENOUS AND HYBRID PLANTS - HORTIKULTURA FILIPINA 2018

WHAT IS HORTIKULTURA?

Hortikultura in English is Horticulture.
The industry and science of cultivation or cultivation of plants that includes the process of soil preparation for planting seeds or seeds of plants, roots or plants, or plant cuts. Horticulturists conduct and research within the propagation disciplines of plants and cultures, plantations, plant propagation, and genetic engineering, and plant physiology. It merely involves the work of fruits, berries, nuts, vegetables, flowers, trees, bushes, and weeds or grassroots. Horticulturists also take advantage of the abundance of crops, including quality, nutritional value, resistance from insects, illnesses, and disorders caused by the environment. Horticulture refers to gardening or gardening in smaller sizes or territories, while agriculture refers to the larger dimensions or scope of cultivation or cultivation of crops. The word horticulture comes from the Latin word hortus which means "garden" or "garden", and cultus , meaning "cultivate".

Last November 17, 2017 Quezon City Memorial Circle - we have invited for an afternoon of workshops and lecture about Horticultura and the upcoming event on February 2-11 2018.

We have given an idea about planting and how you can earn from this plants. In addition to that, we learn some techniques how to grow your small garden to large scale farm. The topic was really interesting and anyone can apply the method they use in their own backyards or small space garden.
