The successful students behind RF Pinoy Games who created Super B!



RF Pinoy Games, founded by Rylle Jewel A. Villamater and Franchesca Del Mundo, who also created Super B, is a small but passionate team of Filipino creators behind a meaningful project called Super B. The game's programmers are Arianne Ignacio and Jasmine Alboleras.




Super B is the first Filipino mobile game that educate Philippine history through engaging and interactive gameplay.  It was intended to be inclusive, particularly for youngsters who are speech-impaired or deaf.  Through bright storytelling, accessible design, and historical excursions, we hope to pique interest and pride in our legacy while also addressing communication gaps with visual features and sign language support.

AirAsia Philippines reiterates no Vaping/Smoking Policy Onboard


A surrendered vape handed over to the Airport Police Department after the violator was caught vaping onboard.


Following recent incidences involving guests breaching the policy, AirAsia Philippines has issued a firm reminder to all visitors that vaping and smoking are completely prohibited on all of its flights.

Despite numerous placarded advisories and public announcements initiated proactively by the airline, from January to August 2025, the airline's Security Department recorded ten incidents of guests being caught vaping mid-flight, either inside lavatories that triggered smoke detectors or openly in seats.

AirAsia warns passengers that such behaviors contravene Republic Act Nos. 9211 (Tobacco Regulation Act) and 11900 (Vape Regulation Act), all of which prohibit vaping in public transportation, including airplanes, and are also strictly prohibited by AirAsia Philippines' published airline policy.

If a guest is caught vaping at an airport, they will be referred to police and may face a fine of up to ₱5,000, charges under the Civil Aviation Authority Act (RA 9497), and administrative sanctions from AirAsia Philippines, including a lifetime ban from all future flights.

“At AirAsia, every flight is anchored on safety, ensuring our guests will get to their destination safely and conveniently. Triggering a smoke detector can cause panic, unnecessary inconvenience and disrupt operations. Also, malfunctioning vaping devices may pose risk inside the cabin. While our team is highly trained in dealing with various situations on ground and in flight, we count on our guests’ cooperation and commitment in making sure safety is never compromised.” ~First Officer Steve F. To avoid such accidents, AirAsia enforces a clear and consistent no-smoking policy from the boarding gate to the plane cabin.  Clear reminders appear on boarding cards, pre-flight announcements, and LED signage during the journey.

The lavatories have tamper-proof smoke detectors, and the cabin crew is always monitoring passenger activity to ensure prompt response when necessary.

Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines: Special Press Event Previews September’s Showcase of Taiwan’s Soft & Hard Power



Taiwan Expo 2025, organized by the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will return to the SMX Convention Center in Manila from September 17 to 19, following a six-year break.  Today (the 13th), a special Press Conference was organized to give Philippine mainstream media and industry association leaders an exclusive glimpse of the innovative goods and integrated solutions that will be displayed at the Expo, boosting excitement ahead of the Taiwan Expo.

Mr. Woody Wang, TAITRA's Deputy Executive Director, stated that this year's Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines is a significant milestone in Taiwan's post-pandemic re-engagement with the Philippine market.  The exhibition has been deliberately developed around five main topics that align with the Philippine government's objectives, developing market demands, and emerging consumer trends: Green & Sustainability, Agritech & Aquatech, Health & Wellness, Smart Technologies, and Intelligent Lifestyle.  The Expo will feature five thematic pavilions and industry zones, showcasing over 140 prominent Taiwanese firms and vividly demonstrating Taiwan's broad industrial competitiveness and innovative prowess.
