Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) is opening the doors to its Bulacan facility to offer the World of Ajinomoto Philippines Factory Tour, a fun and engaging learning experience that takes visitors on a journey through the science, innovation, and people behind the global pioneer and well-known seasonings brand.
This uniquely designed tour focuses on the discovery of umami, the first basic taste; the history and science of monosodium glutamate (MSG); and the emergence of APC as a trusted flavor enhancer among Filipino cooks and foodies for over 65 years.

APC President Daizaburo Koga stated that opening the Bulacan factory to the public is in response to ongoing and expanding requests from students, educators, organizations, and community groups seeking meaningful knowledge-building and experiential learning opportunities. In recent years, it has conducted a clear factory tour for high school and college students.
“We realized that our factory has a story worth sharing. This led us to design a more structured and engaging factory tour experience. We designed the factory tour so people can see what we mean by our ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ philosophy. It is really about encouraging everyone to enjoy delicious, nutritious meals that positively impacts well-being. All our actions are directed towards contributing to a healthier, more sustainable society.” ~Daizaburo Koga, APC President
