Native Tree Growing Project: Growing Life. A three-year (2022–2024) tree-growing project was given to the residents of Barangay Tabili, Catmon, Cebu, by the Insular Foundation in collaboration with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) One to Tree Program. In Catmon, Cebu, 10,000 native tree seedlings were planted as part of the “Growing lnLife: Native Tree Growing Project.” The native trees in the project had an 87% survival rate. Restoring the lost tree cover and increasing partner farmers' incomes are the goals of this green project. As the program's implementer, RAFI OTT will work with local communities to create native tree nurseries and tree plantations in order to preserve and restore the environment.
