Cebu Pacific Flies 5.6 Million passengers through Mactan Airport in 2024

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines' top carrier, carried more than 5.6 million people to and from Cebu in 2024, accounting for about half of Mactan-Cebu International Airport's total passenger traffic of 11.3 million that year.

Driven by high travel demand and strategic network growth, CEB's flights to and from Cebu increased by 34.7%, from 3,580 in January 2024 to 4,824 in January 2025. Similarly, the airline's seat capacity increased by 51.6%, reaching over 717,000 from approximately 473,000.

This expansion is consistent with CEB's aim to provide more accessible travel options to passengers, particularly those in the Central Visayas region, making it easier than ever for every Juan to connect with people, experience new places, and seize opportunities throughout the Philippines and beyond.

“Cebu Pacific’s continued growth in Cebu reflects the strong demand for affordable and accessible air travel in Central Visayas. By increasing our flights and seat capacity, we are not only connecting more passengers but also supporting tourism, trade, and economic opportunities across the region.” ~Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer

CEB currently offers direct flights to 24 domestic and six international destinations from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Travelers will have even more opportunity to discover dream places thanks to CEB's unique seat bargains and special promotions. With its increasing network and persistent commitment to great service, CEB continues committed to making air travel affordable and convenient for all Juans.
