At the prestigious 2026 Insurance Asia Awards in Singapore, Allianz PNB Life received the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Initiative of the Year award for championing inclusivity and resilience by empowering single mothers through MaPanatag. The award recognizes organizations that make significant progress in environmental responsibility, social upliftment, and strong governance — all values that guide MaPanatag at its core.
“Through MaPanatag, we sought to address the realities faced by millions of single mothers in the Philippines by giving them the support and confidence to build a more secure future for themselves and their families. We share this award with all of them for pushing us to create solutions with purpose and meaningful impact. At Allianz PNB Life, we believe that true inclusion means creating solutions that reflect the diverse realities of the people we serve. And as we continue to serve, we remain dedicated to developing more initiatives that help Filipinos from all walks of life achieve a more secure future.” ~Rozanne Magararu, Chief of Staff and Chief Marketing Officer, Allianz PNB Life
A Commitment Rooted in Protection and Empowerment
MaPanatag offers both immediate benefits and long-term opportunities for single mothers to succeed. It provides life and health insurance, wellness support, and pathways to financial independence, all with the goal of assisting single mothers in breaking the cycle of dependency and creating a more secure future for their families.
The program is based on Allianz PNB Life's eAZY Health insurance product, which offers comprehensive coverage tailored to the needs of single mothers, who frequently bear the brunt of caregiving and financial planning on their own.
MaPanatag also provides HerBox, an ecosystem of health and wellness benefits powered by Allianz HealthBox. Single mothers receive up to ₱2,000 in the first year and ₱1,000 in subsequent years, as well as carefully curated perks and discounts from trusted partners to alleviate daily burdens.
Beyond protection, the program promotes financial independence by allowing qualified single mothers to join Allianz PNB Life's growing distribution force. This enables them to generate additional revenue and establish more stable livelihoods for themselves and their communities.
