On August 24, at the Spaceport Grounds, Enchanted Kingdom—the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines—held the 2024 Agilakas Gumalaw Dancing Competition as a mystical ode to our contemporary heroes.
Every year in EK, the Agilakas Gumalaw Dancing Competition brings together the nation's best dancers to showcase their exceptional skill. Ten (10) amazing dance groups performed on stage this year to demonstrate to the world that "Pinoy, Magaling Ka!"
With their award-winning performance, the NU Dance Company from Sampaloc, Manila, showcased the vibrant, rich culture of the Philippines. The group won the grand winner title, twenty (20) EK return passes, and the opportunity to play at one of EK's next events.
Along with the runner-up titles, NEW BREEDZ from Muntinlupa City and League of Monsters-Brothass from Calamba City, Laguna, also received cash prizes and tickets.
Rising P-Pop boy band sensation BILIB brightened the evening with a captivating performance of their most recent tracks mixed in with covers of well-known P-Pop hits. The show also included Myka Espina Gonzaga of G-Force and online celebrity Xai Smith as judges, who turned up the heat on the EK stage by showcasing their incredible dance moves.
This magical celebration was made even more magical with the following sponsors: Surf, Dove Deo, Minute Maid, Pretzels Stick Snacks, Australia’s Own, Hello! Chocolate, Nips, Krrrrunch, C2 Cool and Clean, White Flower, and Selecta.
BAYANI: LAGING HANDA
EK is bringing back BAYANI, its original musical production featuring OPM songs performed by their very own Cast Members, as part of the celebration of Buwan ng Wika this August. The musical's production this year centers on Joana Makabayan's self-discovery journey upon joining the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.
The musical performance will be held every Friday through Sunday at 12:00 p.m. until September 15. and 2:00 PM. at the Theater of Eldar.
MIDWAY MIRROR MAZE
Enjoy more enchanted moments with your loved ones at EK's recently opened Midway Mirror Maze. Visit the Midway Boardwalk and navigate your way through this exciting maze to assist Eldar the Wizard, Princess Madeline, and Princess Victoria in finding her.
Guests can enjoy exclusive access to this captivating and immersive adventure with captivating lights and visuals at every corner for just Php 150. Students can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of Php 120, while senior citizens and people with disabilities can only pay Php 107.14.
