Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) continues to give back to the community this holiday season by sponsoring Christmas baskets for 600 households in Sta. Cruz neighborhood, and donating 150 Besties of Joy plush toys in collaboration with SM City San Lazaro and SM Cares.
Tradition continues
Winford Manila continues to collaborate with adjacent barangays on a gift-giving program for select, impoverished members of the neighborhood. The Christmasaya sa Winford, a beloved tradition since 2017, was held on December 18 at the Winford Ballroom and brought together community leaders, stakeholders, and WRCM employees for a day of holiday pleasure and festivities.
Jeffrey Evora, Winford Manila’s President and COO, expressed his gratitude to the residents of nearby communities. Evora thanked the community for supporting the integrated resort since it first opened doors in 2017.

Sharing smiles with Besties of Joy
In 2025, Winford Manila collaborates with SM Cares and SM City San Lazaro for their annual Buy-One-Donate-One campaign. With each Bestie of Joy purchase, you get to keep one plush toy while the other is donated to a kid in need through your preferred charity or organization.
Last December 26, Winford Manila and SM City San Lazaro donated 150 Besties of Joy plush toys to Precious Heritage Ministries Foundation, Inc., a Manila-based, non-stock, non-profit, and charitable organization in the Philippines dedicated to assisting orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children and families in NCR and Region IV-A.
Through the Besties of Joy initiative of SM Cares and SM City San Lazaro, Winford Manila expands its joyous and meaningful experiences beyond the integrated resort, positively impacting the neighborhood.

Winford Manila, through its corporate social responsibility arm Winford Manila Foundation, Inc., champions and supports community initiatives. Just last April, Winford Manila awarded Caritas Manila a Php4Million grant to support the Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP), with the first Php1Million tranche already released on April 28, 2025. The remaining amount will be disbursed annually to ensure continuous and structured support for the scholars under the program.
